Hi ,

Not off-topic. Bone's biologocal scanner was obviously a resonance scanner and a

mini Rife machine built into a hand held device. Back to the future with Rife!

OT: Star Trek and AIDS in " Blood and Fire " episode!

Although off topic, I feel this is certainly of interest to a number

of people here.

One of my hobbies, besides running this Yahoogroup and the Rife

Forum, is to support a group of fans making new Star Trek episodes to

a very high standard by providing a download platform primarily aimed

at the German market (where I live).

http://www.startrekphase2.de

This fan group, known originally under the name Star Trek New

Voyages, recently renamed to Star Trek Phase II, have built the

original sets of the Enterprise (TOS) and are creating episodes using

original unaired scripts.

I suspect some of you are wondering what this has to do with an

alternative health list like the Rife Yahoogroup. Let me explain.

Star Trek is renowned for breaking down barriers and handling

sensitive issues of today by placing those issues in a future

environment. Star Trek was the first to show a multi-racial and multi-

ethnic crew working together on TV shown in the 60s where this would

otherwise not be possible.

The writer of their latest episode " Blood and Fire " is Gerrald

who wrote the story of contagion as a metaphor for the AIDS pandemic.

It was Gerrold's intention to challenge the apathy of the public

regarding the small sacrifice, yet far reaching power, of blood

donations. Based on an original TNG script that was shelved because

of the mention of a gay crewman aboard the Enterprise, " Blood and

Fire " for Star Trek New Voyages: Phase II honors Gene Roddenberry's

vision of a non-judgmental future with the inclusion of a gay couple

as part of the principle action of the story.

Gerrold directed the episode which features guest stars

Crosby ( " Tasha Yar " from TNG), Bill Blair and Evan Fowler; and

reintroduces the character of Captain Kirk's nephew, , played by

Bobby Rice.

Pursued and damaged by repeated Klingon attacks, the crew of the

Enterprise must respond to the distress call from a Federation

research ship. In a matter of hours the ship and crew will be

consumed by a nearby star and the crew of the Enterprise will be

consumed by an mysterious horror that threatens both ships as the

Klingons watch and wait.

An excerpt of the first 3:44 minutes can be seen here:

http://www.startrekphase2.de/en/4x04_blood_and_fire_part_1.html

--------

At the beginning of the episode, it starts with the following

dedication written by Gerrold:

" In 1985, researchers predicted that if we did not address the AIDS

crisis aggressively, 40 million people would be infected by the year

2000. The warnings were ignored and the prediction came true. At this

time, the World Health Organization estimates that 50 million people

worldwide are infected with the HIV virus.

This episode is dedicated to all the men, women, and children who

have died of AIDS because of the silence, the inaction, the

cowardice, and the hypocrisy, of those few who had the opportunity to

speak up and make a difference ... and did not. "

The episode will be released on Dec. 20 and I expect thousands of

Star Trek fans to visit my website (one of the official mirrors) to

download that new episode.

As Star Trek fans tend to be highly intelligent people including most

of the world's top scientists, I thought it would make sense to offer

info about alternative health solutions (incl. Rife) to this illness.

The website is based in Germany, but I suspect a lot of Americans

will be visiting, too.

---------

I am looking for good suggestions on what info I should provide on

that site. What has worked, what I can suggest, etc.

I do not want to go into the history of AIDS as then you start

getting into the question of if the US government actually sanctioned

the creation of this disease. That is a topic for more advanced

discussion, not for putting on the Star Trek site.

I hope to hear some interesting opinions and suggestions on this and

what I could write on that Star Trek site.

Hi Ken,

maybe, but the real question is was Bone's tricorder resonance

scanner a Rife or R.I.F.E. device?

I think my real question has not really been understood. There is

about to be an episode released on AIDS and I am looking for suitable

info on alternative AIDS therapies I can present to people

downloading that episode. Due to the AIDS and gay crew members

featured in the show, the target audience sounds just right.

What do you people think?

I'm sure you're aware of Hulda R. 's protocol in dealing with AIDS. If

not check it out at drclark.com and drclark.net. I haven't proved it to

myself yet (I will), but I think the frequencies she uses in her " Zapper "

are drawn from the original frequencies Roy Rife worked with. Please let me

know what you think. Thanks.

Hi ,

What a lot of fun you could have in those German movie studios ... LOL

Now Jim Bare could play Captain Kirk and would be Bones, because Bones is

always right and taking the mickie out of everyone else!

Infact you could build the whole Star Trek team from leaders and experts in the

Rife industry and we'd have a pretty close match of personalities.

Bruce Stenulson would be great as Spock.

Geoff from the GB4000 would be a great engineer like y

You would make a great Sulu.

And I'll be the Klingon leader (hahaha) and out to get you all! LOL

Now a whole episode could revolve around 's tricorder.

The captain gave the crew R.I.F.E., but Bone's had to argue this. Bone's just

liked argueing with everyone, yep, even Spock! So there you go Bruce!

Now lets get down to tricorders ...

Wikipedia version ...

Three primary variants of the tricorder were issued in Star Trek's Starfleet.

The standard tricorder is a general-purpose device used primarily to scout

unfamiliar areas, make detailed examination of living things, and recording and

reviewing technical data. The medical tricorder is used by doctors to help

diagnose diseases and collect bodily information about a patient; the key

difference between this and a standard tricorder is a detachable hand-held

high-resolution scanner stored in a compartment of the tricorder when not in

use. The engineering tricorder is fine-tuned for starship engineering purposes.

There are also many other lesser-used varieties of special use tricorders.

We can see Captain Kirk announcing Bone's tricorder is R.I.F.E. But Bone's

argues all tricorders are R.I.F.E. Sulu laughs at the argument and notices which

room Charlene ran into.

y brings out all these detailed plans so discussion could exist at

engineering levels to see if the crew could resolve R.I.F.E. verse Rife.

Just when issue were being resolved, and Charlene is thinking it safe to come

out, the Klingons arrived and fired a plasma beam into the Enterprise, and the

camera sweeps around to view the Klingons running for deep space, and the words

on the side of their plasma canon read - " R.I.F.E. by Dr. Rife " :-)
