Guest guest
Hi from Sue, I've had chronic insomnia all my life...(now 61) ...But from 1991-2000 ..when I took Prozac and Ritalin the Prozac helped me sleep great.../ seretonin related. Then from 2000- 2006 I switched from meds to amino acid therapy ...taking 5HTP, Tryptophan, GABA, and 6 other aminos. =good sleep with that most nights...but cumbersome. When joining this group mid 2006... I switched to MB12 nasal spray 1250 mcg's of methylcobalamin and 300 mcg's of folinic acid. THIS prescription took the place of all the aminos I need except for LYSINE...and occasional Theanine. My insomnia is directly related to the amt. of MB12 n.s. I need.... If I have an excitable day..I need up to 6 squirts per muscle testing. I can take it day or night. If I go to bed... and can't sleep... within 30 minutes.. I go downstairs to muscle test my MB12 /folinic.. And--- It turns out I'm always deficient (per muscle testing) when I can't sleep. So as soon as I squirt the amt. of needed MB12... I fall asleep within 15 minutes. (Meletonin never worked well for me.) Hope that helps, Sue
