For our 2nd we are using the milk-based formula. Cory
Guest guest
Krista, I agree with you that breast milk is better for babies by far. Unfortunatly, due to many circumstances, I only lasted 6 weeks with my son and 1 day with my daughter. (who is 10 months and on soy formula) I envy you mothers who were able to do it. I just couldn't.
Guest guest
Cory, Thanks so much for the info. Why does the soy have a high Aluminum and not the milk based? A chiropractor who first helped me learn about the vaccine issue, told me soy was best! After your 2nd child was off formula what did she drink? Is soymilk ok? I dont like the thought of cows milk! Thanks alot,

However, I would be interested to see what he is basing that opinion on. After a child is weaned off of whatever milk they are on, somewhere around the age of two, they should basically drink the same drink that all adults should drink: WATER. A little soy milk (as unsweetened as possible) or an occasional very watered down juice is not going to kill them, but water should be the staple. Take care. Guest guest
Dear Pru, Check out this site and type in raw goat's milk in the search part. The powdered form of goats milk looked interesting to me and I may buy it for . http://www.mercola.com/ goats milk > Has anyone had success in getting their kids to drink goat milk? My son wouldn't drink it for a million dollars (well maybe for a million he would!). I have made it into yoghurt, added vanilla - even sugar! Won't touch it. Any ideas? > Thanks > Prue > > >
Guest guest
I just buy goat milk cheese-my kids love it-and they wouldn't dream of drinking the milk. goats milk > Has anyone had success in getting their kids to drink goat milk? Guest guest
-most powdered goat milk is very strong-tastes awful May I suggest Garden of Life Goatein which has predigested goat's milk protein and probiotics. It can be added to muffins, pancakes, etc or used for shakes. It's not bad. It's hormone free etc. goats milk > > > > Has anyone had success in getting their kids to drink goat milk? Guest guest
Dear That's exactly the brand I was looking into. I'm glad to hear it may be a good choice for my daughter. goats milk > > > > > > > Has anyone had success in getting their kids to drink goat milk? Guest guest
Just last night, I made a goat milk cheese pizza. I finally found some of this cheese which can be shredded and was not the wetter, goopier type that my kids don't like. It was kind of last minute, so I didn't have the time to make a yeast type crust, but I did get a pretty decent crust out of an aunt Jemima pancake mix. I loaded it with sauce, pepperoni and sausage, and my boys just LOVED it. And they are quite picky about things like this. --- Elyse Goldberg <elyse-g@...> wrote: > Dr Goldberg say the goats milk needs to be > pasteurized > > Goat cheese pizza's are great! > > Elyse > > > > > -- > No virus found in this outgoing message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.1.392 / Virus Database: 268.6.1/344 - > Release Date: 5/19/2006 > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > Barb Katsaros barbkatsaros@... __________________________________________________
