Die-off like behavior from SSRIs?

My son is on his best-yet SSRI, and Dr. G wants us to increase the dose a

bit. My son has regressed to playing less with toys and preservating A LOT,

lots of arm flapping, retreating to his beloved blankie, staring at a map of

Legoland (and getting EXTREMELY upset if it gets torn), etc. Is this typical

during an adjustment to a SSRI?
