Don't worry, I'm sure they will show up in a day or two! I don't see

mine either.

Hi well I did scream…or yell, anyway, at the neurologist who said my

problems were “probably due to menopause”. Now, I am not a yeller or someone

who ever usually loses my temper, but after 18 months of being housebound

and desperately seeking medical help I just lost it. And do you know it felt

GOOD. This guy was so smug and dismissive I just had to break through his

complacency. Then OF COURSE he said in the report (which was all lies, based

on the notes I left him rather than our interview – he covered his ass!) he

was concerned my outburst was indicative of underlying stress or a

psychiatric problem. Yeah, terminal frustration!

Any shrink knows the difference between primary, endogenous depression and

secondary, or reactive…which is what happens when we lose our lives due to

illness. Unfortunately in this medical climate, as soon as you “bing” on

their test for depression everything else is dismissed. BTW the neuro also

told me that brain lesions (I have one) are normal in folks my age! Never

mind the brain symptoms. What is the matter with these guys???

Anyway, the point is that you know the truth, that you are not just

(understandably) depressed but ill.

Hi Aylwin,

I'm sorry I totally lost my train of thoughts and crashed since I emailed

you last. I saw your email about the sites but I don't have the energy to

look at them yet. Some fighter I am!

Thank you for your thoughts and when I pull myself together, I read the

sites.

Take care,

I wasn't testing for activity; I was testing a new email address. Someone has

high-jacked my old email address and is using it for SPAM. I'm receiving

hundreds of returned emails per minute to the old address. I was going to

unsubscribe from all the yahoo groups, but I decided to just try switching to a

new address for now.

Regards,
