Guest guest
We live in Indiana, which has an autism mandate. Requireing coverage if it is on a care plan. The mandate is kinda screwy with all sorts of loopholes but here is an article explaining if you are covered by it. http://www.iidc.indiana.edu/irca/ServArticles/INhealthInsurance.html Then I got a treatment plan, by his doctor, and his neurologist. I submitted it to the pre-determination at Anthem and then hounded them, until I got an awnser. The approved for a few hours a month (20), and I am appealing for more hours now. Last year, I had a different insurance company and they denied it. I appealled and they approved it. I think the insurance companies are getting a little gun shy after a few law suites are winning for more than ABA. I think, if you are getting ABA paid for, then you could get RDI, SonRise, Floortime or what ever paid for, as long as it is somewhat legit. Heck, in my opinion I think everything should be paid for. I hope this helps. > > How did you get it funded? >
