hi everyone,

I recently joined this group and have a question.

Does anyone have experiences to share about Virastop? We are up to 11

caps/day and my 4.5 yr old with ASD is extremely irritable, very

emotional, having frequent and abrupt mood changes, and is sleeping a

lot. Infact, he would never even lie down during the day, and now if

given a chance, he lies down and even goes off to sleep after a

while. We are giving him threelac, biotin, and diflucan (50 mg/day)

for yeast control. One of the best things that happened when we

reached this dose is that his eczema has completely disappeared. He

has had it since he was a baby no amount of steroidal creams, lotions

etc have helped much! Apart from this though, we have not seen any

gains. Infact, his behavior is at the worst as I mentioned. I am

wondering if it is time for me to add a prescription antiviral like

valtrex or may be another natural antiviral like OLE. Suggestions are

welcome.

Also, just want to mention that he is on lauricidin, transfer factor,

CLO, vitamin C, L-theanine, inositol, Zinc, selenium, calcium,

magnesium, vit E, vit K2, borage oil, folinic acid, MB-12 shots and

probiotics. Al these have helped him and he is relatively high

functioning now. his major issues have been poor attention, poor

social skills, geting stuck on what he learns/plays and wants to keep

repeating it and sound senstivities.

We also started activated charcoal ( 1 cap a day) since yesterday but

looks like it has not changed things. He just doesn't want to

cooperate and his ABA therapists are also not able to do anything.

Thanks very much for reading and I very much look forward to your

input.
