Guest guest
Hello all, Thanks so much for all the great advice and suggestions for helping with this situation. It's nice to know that I am not alone. Tonight my daughter did her same 'withholding' routine. I decided to try the suggestion of using an infant enema. It worked!! I actually had one in my linen closet, and when I read the reply post, it came back to me that I had one in the house. Although she put up a little fuss, I was able to get about half in her and she went to the bathroom 4 times by the end of the night. She hadn't gone since last Thursday. Now I am wondering how often I can use them, and if using the enema will only increase her fear/anxiety and make her that much more fearful of having a BM. In any case, at least she went tonight because tomorrow we have an hour drive to start Chiropractic Neurology, and I'd hate for her to be uncomfortable for the ride. I will look into getting the GABA Calm also. Presently, she takes Lithium Orotate and L-Theanine for her anxieties, but neither seem to do much good. Maybe the GABA Calm will help. Once again, thank you all for your help. Karmen
