Guest guest
Hi...melatonin loses it effetiveness over time and you just have to use more and more. It also masks symptoms that you want to catch early - like emerging yeast bacteria or parasite issues or earaches to name a few. The best way to regulate sleep, we have found, is through the way you would do it in a time xone change etc....a behavioral approach. OVer a week or two keep track of how many hours your child really sleeps...if he goes down at 8 and wakes up at 3 am for instance, fairly consistently...he only needs, for now, 7 hours. So you put him to bed much later and wake hime up, not matter what at the seven hours point....NO naps during the day and try to increase his activity level as to wear him out a bit....then night by night you start pushing the bedtime a bit earlier, but letting him sleep until the wake up time that is desirable...eventually, this way, they do sleep more hours and more restfully....if they wake up an hour or two before the reasonable am time...push back bedtime again etc....Di- -- In mb12 valtrex , wrote: > > Fill me in on why not to use Melatonin? > Regards > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi there.
