It looks like you have written a lot of well informed facts below

but I just don't understand what they mean exactly. Here is what I

know. My son just turned three. We were on the MB12 shots for about

five months. We did every third day and then every other day. I

didn't really see any changes whatsoever. We did glutathione cream

for about a month or less. Again I saw nothing (except maybe a bout

of eczema increase, which also increased with epsom salt baths?). We

are going to finally see Dr Goldberg in July. Can you tell me how

what you have written might relate to my son?

Hi, Kristie.

Thanks for your message. I'm sorry that these shots and this cream

and Epsom salts did not help your son.

I would like to be able to respond to your question, but the problem

is that each child is unique. I don't know which particular genetic

polymorphisms your son has inherited. I think that the supplements

need to be targeted to the particular genetic variations in order to

be effective. Otherwise, it's a matter of shooting in the dark, and

that can be time-consuming and frustrating. Dr. Amy Yasko uses the

genetic testing approach. The DAN! project uses many of the same

supplements, but they choose them on the basis of other biochemical

testing and clinical experience. Both have had considerable success

in treating autistic children.

I don't know if you would be interested in having his polymorphisms

characterized, but if so, this can be done without a doctor's order

through the website http://www.testing4health.com. I am not

connected to this website or to Dr. Amy Yasko, who developed this

test panel. This test panel is not cheap. It costs $750 plus

shipping, and if you request an analysis report, there is an

additional charge for that. If you want to find out more about how

this panel is used, you can join the Dr. Yasko's parents' group at

http://www.autismanswer.com and read the material there.
