Hi Elena from Sue,

We bought our copies from Amazon....since if you buy two copies or more

there's free shipping...makes great gifts...or go in with a friend/family to buy.

But there is also a good link ..that you can print out many uses.

Here's the link... www.buyactivatedcharcoal.com

Look on the left of the site for HEALTH CONDITIONS.

This book has over 150 references...

Great for Detox symtoms, for sore throats, Pinkeye, ear infections,

PEANUT allergies... as well as the usual binding of toxins...

and digestion issues many of us experience in this group!

Hope you enjoy!

Sue

PS... For skin conditions like ulcerated eczema... they say to put

charcoal in a salt shaker (with a few grains of rice ) and simply

sprinkle it on... Also Used for wounds, etc.

Also poultices with flaxseed and charcoal are used to draw out toxins

in many conditions. 5b.

Hello Sue,Where do I get this Charcoal/Remedies book your mentioning?Elenajsthorpe <jsthorpesurewest (DOT) net> wrote:Hi from Sue,More from the book called CharcoalRemedies.com. pgs.158-159.RE: Yeast/fungus infections: Kaufman, Ph.D., is a bio-nutritional chemist. He reports.."Activated charcoal can be an effective adjunctto any regimen for the treatment of systemic Candida albicansinfections". The toxins produced by Candida, areeffectively adsorbed by charcoal.Charcoal curbs the growth of intestinal-based yeasts, and it counteracts the Herxheimer reaction. When, as a result of a successful treatment, there isa large die -off of yeast cells, there is a severe, short termaggravation of Candida symptoms due to the increasedamount of toxins produced. The Herxheimer reaction is oftenSO UNPLEASANT that patients ABANDON treatment before completion.Taking activated charcoal is one method for alleviating thesymptoms of yeast die-off so that patients can continue their treatment and NOT SUFFER. Dr Kaufman suggests 20-30 grams of activated charcoal a day in divided dosages on an empty stomach until the problemis eliminated... The larger amount is taken for more severesituations. He recommends NOT taking charcoal within two hours of required medications.(RE: Oxalates...from Sue... since Candida overgrowth/ arabinoseis correlated with high amts. of oxalates it makes sense that charcoal MAY help control oxalates as well...( I notice when I eat high oxalate foods I muscle test needing more charcoal.and it makes me feel better after taking it .)RE: PHENOLS...pg. 172... Cooney, a University of Wyoming chemist, showed thatCharcoal had a High adsorptive capacity for PHENOLS...But while the TOXIC PHENOLS adhered to the charcoal, the proteins did not.( Struhsaker of Duke, was studying the RED Colobus monkeys on Zanzibar Island,Tanzania....who ate leaves that were High in protein and PHENOLSand found they instinctively eat the charred stumps, logs and branches...to get their charcoal...to off set the Phenols in the leaf diets.)RE: Colitis, Crohn's disease, IBS... Activated is to be taken internally by babies or those with sensitive digestion ... MANY MANY pages cited.on this.A. Charcoal is good for DIGESTIONand for HALATOSIS.../bad breath..when ingested... & swirled in the mouth and swallowed. There are sooo many more uses... 150 in all in this book.Hope this helps,Sue---------------------------------Looking for the perfect gift?
