Guest guest
Hi Kristie - If you're going to get die-off, it'll usually start within the first 3-5 days and last up to a couple of weeks. We never experienced die-off, but just wonderful improvements almost immediately. Antifungals brought the most sudden and dramatic changes and improvements in the sensory area, but antivirals brought the eye contact and steady improvements that help all the other areas including the difficulty fighting yeast. While antifungals are fighting the yeast, the antivirals are going to be addressing the reason yeast may be a problem. The time frame for witnessing improvements from the antivirals varies too. It can be two weeks before you start seeing something, so seeing (even if subtle) an improvement in eye contact so soon is pretty cool. It took a month for one of my kids before I really really knew I was seeing something big, but boy did I. (He wasn't as sick as his brother so maybe that's why it took longer). I wouldn't blame the laughing fits on Valtrex - and obviously you don't either since you're thinking yeast. Are you already giving probiotics? Also, he may start laughing more as he feels better too. My kids' energy levels increased so much that I had to adjust to it myself, and I initially thought maybe they were being hyper and Dr G had to confirm my definition of hyper for me, and we decided it was just feeling good. He was right, too, 'cause I've seen hyper a few times since. So watch out when that child develops a 'normal' energy level if you haven't experienced that! LOL Oh I do love to hear the beginnings of the journey! It reminds me of the joy I felt! Please keep us updated and celebrate with us. I still just eat up even the tiniest details. --- aaron2kristie <aaron2kristie@...> wrote: > When does a Die Off Start normally? So far just the > two laughing fits > I attribute to yeast. Guest guest
Kristie, My son's die-offs usually start ~day 2-4. Hang in there! Kristy Compounding Pharmacy not too stiff on budget and take insurance Hi all! I go to Park Pharmacy in Irvine, CA. Usually they mail my prescriptions for very cheap--less than $4. They take insurance (including Express Scripts which really is a crap insurance for prescriptions we used to have). The staff and pharmacists are really nice. I encourage you to give them a try. Dr G did mention a place near his office that will compound in liquid form the Valtrex if we are desperate. He said he would prefer I cut it, crush it and put it in my son's food though. This has worked for three days so this is what we do. When does a Die Off Start normally? So far just the two laughing fits I attribute to yeast. Few times of really looking in mine or my husband's eyes....we are on day three though and as always I am anxious..must learn self control! Guest guest
My daughter use to laugh for no reason. She does not do this very often anymore. I never knew it was due to yeast I just thought that she was acting goofie.
