Guest guest
I didn't know you could get valtrex compounded! I had tried to get it thru a different pharmacy that way and they said it wasn't possible. Would you mind telling me what it cost for a specific mg. amt? Valtrex is so darn expensive! --- golivo@... wrote: > Kristie, > > My son's system could not handle the Valtrex even > after I washed off the > blue dye, he told us to get it compounded from > Friendly Hills Pharmacy and > that did it! > Good luck! > Re: More to Kristie > > > > Yeah I am washing off the blue coating and > everything. Guest guest
They charge about $8.00 for UPS shipping on top of the cost, since we get two different dosages compounded, it was about $40.00 for about 375mg and $91.00 for the 500mg, or something lilke this, of course this is after insurance, we also used to get Diflucan compounded as well. Laurie called the prescription in to Friendly Hills for us the first time.. Re: More to Kristie > > > > Yeah I am washing off the blue coating and > everything. Guest guest
was it 91 for a month's supply or 135? we also had diflucan compounded. much less expensive. we get it done in a small town near us. they only charge 1.00 for shipping, which is nice. i am so glad to hear that they are now compounding valtrex. it wasn't the case a year or so ago even at friendly hills, from what i remember. --- golivo@... wrote: > They charge about $8.00 for UPS shipping on top of > the cost, since we get > two different dosages compounded, it was about > $40.00 for about 375mg and > $91.00 for the 500mg, or something lilke this, of > course this is after > insurance, we also used to get Diflucan compounded > as well.
