Why would my son be getting WORSE?

The last 8 months he has just progressively become worse and worse. Each day we

look at

each other and can't believe how in spite of everything we're doing he is not

improving. I

hate it. My only thought is, perhaps he has mercury posioning and we need to

try chelation?

Why else would he keep getting worse?

can be he is eating something that is an iGG issue that he continues to eat making his antibodies go up daily mamking him sicker and sicker. I commonly see this with rice as a sub for gluten, or kids eating nuts and eggs and they have issues mom and dad don't know about. can you post what he is eating and taking suppliment wise and perhaps we can help you, make sure you are rotating foods and that can help you find the problem, you may also have an issue with a suppliment. the only way to find that is to either take one out per day until the problem resolves or better to go off everything and start over doing only 1 at a time for 4 days before adding in another to see what the issues are. to set up a rotation diet pick 1 meat, 1 veggie, 1 non yeast feeding food, and 1 carb or grain to do for that day. do this for 4 days and only eat those foods that day, if there is a food that is an issue it will show it's head and on days you DON'T have that food you won't see problems helping you to figure out what is going on. another thing you can do is an IGG testing to have numbers showing you what the issue is and also let you know if your diet is clean and WHAT to take out, as well as doing an OATS test to see if a suppliment is needed, to high, if there are yeast issue or bacteria issues, toxic issues, EFA test ect

Could he be reacting badly to something that might be hard to catch? Some supplements etc work great for some children but have bad effects on others. Could yeast or viral be issues here?

may also be eating alot of yeast feeders causing yeast to be getting worse as well

Thanks so much Beth. I actually took my son off everything a few days ago. I

was going

to start him on Flagyl which I think is for what you describe, the other

bacteria moving in.

However, he got hives after starting it so I stopped that too. I will try again

in a few days.

Just looking back over the last few months - 8 months ago we weren't even sure

if he was

on the spectrum now it's so clear.
