Guest guest
Hi Kristie - Are you giving him acidophilus? I imagine he would usually start the antifungal a month later ... did he say, or is he starting to delay them? His labs must have had a strong viral indication. In the meantime, the probioics and strict sugar and carb reduction should help... Hang in there, 'cause he will address it soon. It'll be great! Congrats on starting the meds. --- aaron2kristie <aaron2kristie@...> wrote: > Hey all. We began Valtrex yesturday. My son today is > having a laughing > fest and it is so totally yeast. Guest guest
Give " Garlicin' and " kyodophilus " until Dr. G prescribes an anti-fungal. These are both he recommends to supplement an anti-fungal and are very helpful. Hang in there. The laughing and drunk behavior is unbearable, I know! Ellen No anti fungal??? Hey all. We began Valtrex yesturday. My son today is having a laughing fest and it is so totally yeast. Dr G doesn't want us on an anti fungal in the beginning yet. What can we do? Guest guest
you might want to ask Dr. G before starting the kyodophilus. He was specific with us as to when to start them. --- ellie <ejordan1@...> wrote: > Give " Garlicin' and " kyodophilus " until Dr. G > prescribes an anti-fungal. Guest guest
Good point ... if you aren't giving it already, then you don't want to add it to the mix when you're starting a new med. Right now it may not matter to you what's causing improvement, but it will drive you crazy later! That's why Dr G always waits a minimum of two weeks between med (including supplement) changes. --- Barb Katsaros <barbkatsaros@...> wrote: > you might want to ask Dr. G before starting the > kyodophilus.
