Guest guest
A Perspective on Being Poor in Drain, Oregon. I know it is a common thing to blame the poor on their problems, including their diseases. In the Western World, being poor is treated like committing a crime. So, in the last two months I have had four people who were millionaires until their fifties and sixties, who are living in my valley and came to see me for their illnesses. Two had had their huge pension funds robbed by different pirate corporate takeovers. One had her investments shrink from 3 million to a tenth of that by the terrible investments of her broker during the internet/computer bust of the 90s, and had the rest taken by legal expenses. The last had had a brain aneurysm and was saved by Stanford university, at horrible expense which they collected every penny of; lost his Cadalac dealership in California, lost his house, all his investments, and is living in a trailer, brain damaged and unable to work or even keep track of his money. Oh, and Stanford won't see him any more. He owes them money. So the next time you think that being poor is because of people making bad choices in their life: please make sure you are not spending any time around corporate pirates, investment brokers that follow the herd, and that you don't get an unfortunate disease. Good Luck to you all. Joanne Holland MD/DVM Drain, Oregon Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
