Guest guest
k-great news. I appreciate the update. So I just got my regular physician to run the list of blood work that Dr. G usually wants ran before he sees you. I ran everything he has listed on the list... the numbers are interesting. I'm still taking a look at them, and looking up what I can about some of the levels. It seems that a few really stand out to me. I had been 'thinking' that something related to strep might come up... my titer level was 413... I think I read something and the highest is considered to be like 149-200, they call that 'PANDAS.' So I'm well above that. I also tested positive for Rubella, and Ebstein virus, I think Herpes 6 virus, a slightly positive CNC presense, and a 1:40 ratio of ANA titer was positive... the doctor told me that 'could' mean lupus, however that is at the very lowest level in which they would require to be lupus... and it isn't uncommon for it to come up positive. I also had low '18' of IgM... which is a little above the 'ANA' screen in the immunology section. You all have been soo good to help me out-thank you -, 24 yo, CA I did come up positive for Herpes simplex virus 1, but from what I was reading that isn't a big deal. > > > > > > , > > > > > > Welcome. > > > > > > I am so glad that your are able to get in to see Dr. Goldberg. > > Although you > > > are older and have struggled with this for longer than most of our > > children, > > > you have the distinct advantage of being able to discern and > > communicate how > > > the meds are affecting you in person.
