dr jean, thanks so much for making this - a s a wee resident, it

*really* helps me to visualize The Future. i love your many

accoutrements for kids - the etch-a-sketch is such a nice touch, in

the video as well as in your office! i have been told over and over

that if i don't do obstetrics i'll never see any kids in my practice -

not true for you, clearly.

Leigh1 the etch a sketh was the first thing I bought before any medical stuff! th e kids know where it is. they get taught when they first are introduced to the offcie so they can come in and help themsleves Actaully many adults pick it up and play with it

2 More subsantively it is very tough here in old maine to see kids 90% of kids are on medicaid( the state is very genreous so this is good, they get care ,but it is murderous on providers) and maine is very old demogrpahically SO I do struggle with it BUt I manage to get 1 or 2 new borns a year .It is a source of concern but you cAN Do it.The open access is HUGE for worried moms.
