Guest guest
Yes and in addition to the length of time a child is taking Valtrex also what is important ... Is this child taking anything that will interfere with his/her immune system? I don't think because a physician prescribes Valtrex they can qualify as a professional. Michele Cerruto. Guest guest
Maybe someone smarter than I am can comment on this, but I just wanted to throw in that Dr. Goldberg wants the Valtrex given three times a day (and I think 4 hours apart) . I think I remember him saying once that if it wasn't given properly, it wouldn't work. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. Guest guest
You're right - it is dosed 3x a day. We had to switch to Famvir (2x) because compliance was so difficult due to memory problems. --- Caroline Glover <sfglover@...> wrote: > Maybe someone smarter than I am can comment on this, > but I just wanted to > throw in that Dr. Goldberg wants the Valtrex given > three times a day (and I > think 4 hours apart) .
