I have wondered about this as well with my son. He seems to have

allergies during hayfever season. He doesn't have overt/severe allergy

symptoms, just some sneezing and red eyes. His ENT said allergies may

be congestion, inflammation of sinuses, in which event, he would be

" stuffed up " instead of properly draining, which is exactly what happens

to me. I wonder if this exacerbates the ear wax. What allergy meds

have worked for your guy? My son generally only tolerates benadryl at

night, but I haven't tried all of them yet.
