I was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback

about how their child acted when they were on Nizoral?

My son is starting to have some regression in his

behavior & I'm hoping that it is die off or

something... I would appreciate hearing about anyone

elses experience & positive effects as well.

Thanks-

Kristy-

Thanks for your reply. Can I ask you to give me a

little more " light " at the end of this tunnel, by

telling me some positive behaviors or examples of

things your child did after the die off?

Thanks-

Hi ,

When did he start the Nizoral? Regression -- MAJOR regression if you

are early into the protocol -- is die-off in a nutshell. Fortunately,

it doesn't usually last too long. When my son is going through

die-off on a new antifungal, he does things we haven't seen in years

-- flapping, sensory problems, tantrums, speech/language problems,

balance issues...it can be horrific to go through. Hang in there,

what you're seeing is a good sign that the Nizarol is hitting

something. He will come out of it brighter, calmer, and more alert.

We are pretty early on the protocol. We just started

in July. He's been flapping so much I'm afraid he

could take flight! He's also been covering his ears a

lot & standing on his head (all sensory issues). So,

it makes me feel better that someone else's child did

that too. My son doesn't have any language, so...

I'm hoping that he'll begin talking somewhere in the

near future...

Hi Cheryl, as I recall, the first time my son was on Nizarol, we saw a

*lot* of hyper behavior, giggling, bouncing, running around, etc., so

it very well *could* be die-off. Definitely give Dr. G a call on

Monday if he doesn't calm down by then, but I wouldn't worry. In the

meantime, if it makes you happy to see him like this, just enjoy it! :)

HTH,
