United got frozen out of our mountain valley.

Local IPA members voted down their proposal.

They are now individually trying to get providers to sign a contract.

Not sure, but someone told me that if they don't have a certain penetration in an area, then they can't say certain things in their ads -- like they have a network of doctors in the area.

They have left a couple messages about having a meeting with me --- and they'll bring the contracts so I can sign them at the meeting...yeah, right.

:-)

I think hell freezes at the same temperature here as in Durango.

From what I gather...the question should be...what are the major POSITIVE issues...if you can find one...go ahead and sign up.

I have not participated with UHC. What are the major negative issues with them?
