Hi Kristie:

I guess I have not clarified myself and I apologize for that. What I am

referring is that if a DAN Dr. prescribes valtrex to a kid w/ " autism " (and I

hate

that word) what other medicines / supplements / vitamins is that child

taking? Can Valtrex be taken with different supplements? And the length of

time a child may need to take an antiviral; like Valtrex, could be

eternity.................until new medicines become available.

Yes, HHV6, HHV7,8,9,??? , EBV high titers, etc. etc. as per Dr. McCandless

book; she will prescribe Valtrex. But the MOST important fact TODAY is we are

dealing with a Neuro-Immune Disease and it is NOT getting any better, only

worse !!

Most that are being prescribed Valtrex have high herpes titers. If you

read Dr McCandless book Children with Starving brains, this is what

she recommends. That is the only way a DAN will prescribe valtrex

(that I am aware of...Dr Kartzinel and Dr Sears here in my areas).

Only one parent I know took it upon himself to give his son valtrex

and his son did NOT have high herpes titers. However his son did

recover and so who knows???
