re: nizoral and lactose

actually over 75% of all meds have some form of milk in them.

Based on what I've been told, it's a digestive aid. If you check out a

post I made a year or two

ago, I listed ssris and antifungals and which ones contain lactose.

But be careful with the thought that the med is evil because of the

lactose -

it may be a processing problem. I posted an article this year about a

liver enzyme gene

that affects how a med is taken up by the body.

My son is sensitive to casein yet he tolerates nizoral.

Did you guys know nizerol has lactose in it? I did not until a fellow

parent told me.
