Yes it is getting a little late for wildcrafting mullein. Even here in Slovenia. Nothing wrong with motherwort. Actually it is extremely good for the heart. That is how it got its name from its effect on the heart. Yes it is also an excellent herb for the female reproductive system. I don't know her age either but I do believe that she is younger than I am. :-) Thanks Diane. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
the tingle comes from augustfolia (sp)... you may have purpurea What I do is tincture it... then strain, then add more of the dried or powdered... this helps make it stronger... when I don't or can't use fresh. Guest guest
I wondered about that tingle. I bought a bottle of echinacea tincture the other day (Organic Echinacea Supreme from Gaia Herbs) and boy does it tingle when I drink a dropperful in a small glass of water! Guest guest
We use the ear oil quite regularly, with our 6 (almost 7, as he will tell you) year old son in the public school system (what I call the Germ Pool), and he gets earaches. It really is fantastic!. I can get mullien pretty easily from my herbalist if you need some.
