Guest guest
Do you have the reference ranges of the tests? These are helpful to know if and how far outside of normal they are. > > Hello Listmates, > > I need some HELP! We recently had our first visit with Dr. Usman after a > long wait. Guest guest
, Look on the rubela and ruboella lab tests results, are they listing these as low? Is this from Immunosciencs? Because if they are too low and he has been vaccinated, you may have an immunodeficiency problem. Did they test his IgA or his IgG or his IgM? Bridget > > Hello Listmates, > > I need some HELP! Guest guest
Hi , Can you post the normal ranges for the test results (if they're on the form you got) or whether they are indicated as high, low, or whatever? Without norms, I can't comment on the numbers. Thanks. emcommunic@... wrote: Hello Listmates, I need some HELP! We recently had our first visit with Dr. Usman after a long wait. We have received some test results back. I called to schedule a follow up appointment and she doesn't have any time available until April 07. However, it was suggested that I make an appointment with her PA or a nurse. I need to prepare for this visit and have as much information as possible. My son is eleven and has autism. My first question, do the following tests results indicate that I need to treat for viruses? If so what suggestions would you all recommend? The test results are as follows: EBV IGG - Negative Rubeola IGG AB - 59.8 Rubella IGG AB - 23.2 Mumps IGG AB - 2.40 Has anyone had similar tests results? I will probably post some of the other test results at another time. --------------------------------- Access over 1 million songs - Music Unlimited Try it today. Guest guest
, The reference ranges are as follows: Rubeola IGG AB 59.8 Didn't really give a range other than >19.9 EU/ML is positive for Rubeola IGG antibody. Rubella IGG AB 23.2 A result >11 IU/ML is positive for Rubella IGG antibodies. Mumps IGG AB 2.40 0.89 or less Negative 0.90-1.09 - Equivocal - Repeat testing in 10-14 days 1.10 or greater - Positive - IgG antibody to mumps virus detected, which may indicate a current or past exposure/immunization to mumps virus. This is the information that is on test.
Guest guest
OK so I am not a doctor but all of these virus counts came back high and I thought that meant an overactive immune system trying to fight off a virus. Dr G has always said it is a HHV6 related virus. When we tested my son for virals, they all came back high (HHV6 EBV CMV). After Valtrex and Famvir, they are in range. > > , > The reference ranges are as follows: > Rubeola IGG AB 59.8 > Didn't really give a range other than >19.9 EU/ML is positive for Rubeola > IGG antibody. > Rubella IGG AB 23.2 > A result >11 IU/ML is positive for Rubella IGG antibodies. > Mumps IGG AB 2.40 > 0.89 or less Negative > 0.90-1.09 - Equivocal - Repeat testing in 10-14 days > 1.10 or greater - Positive - IgG antibody to mumps virus detected, which may > indicate a current or past exposure/immunization to mumps virus. > > This is the information that is on test. > > > > >
