Guest guest
what viruses? EBV is negative and it appears your son is still producing titers to the MMR shot Did the Dr test NK cells? Antibodies to myelin? What are the lymph/baso/neutrophil/eos counts? I would also suggest not supplementing unless you know why you are supplementing. If there is a problem, why is there a problem? Are tests showing a wacked out immune system? We did supplements for 2 yrs until we realized just how dangerous they can be. Supplements are unregulated by the FDA. I see your son is on melatonin - why? are there sleep issues? if so, has an SSRI been explored? melotonin is affected by serotonin. If serotonin if off, then sleep will be affected. Why 2000 mg of Vit C? That's an awfully large dose for an 11 yr old. Do you know what overdosing on Vit C will do? I don't mean to scare but I would recommend buying a Mineral and Vitamin book and looking up overdosing. And 200,000 IU of Vit A? eegads! I did research on Vit A when I was on Accutane. Parasite cleansing? Do tests show that your son has parasites? Question everything ... if the answer doesn't make logic sense, then don't do it. Research research research. If 1+1 is not quite = 2 then don't do it. Just because a doctor says they treat 'Autism' doesn't mean they understand the illness or what they are treating. We worked with a local DAN Dr for 3 yrs ... a well known Dr in this area ..... highly respected by some ... the stories I could tell you about his 'treatments' Doris land emcommunic@... My first question, do the following tests results indicate that I need to treat for viruses? If so what suggestions would you all recommend? The test results are as follows: EBV IGG - Negative Rubeola IGG AB - 59.8 Rubella IGG AB - 23.2 Mumps IGG AB - 2.40 Has anyone had similar tests results? I will probably post some of the other test results at another time.
Guest guest
Doris, Did the Dr test NK cells? Antibodies to myelin? What are the lymph/baso/neutrophWhat are the Some of these tests aren't very clear to me. However, I will try and answer what I can understand. There's a section that said Immunology and it states the following: T & B Cell Count & Subset Cd4: Cd8 2.2 range 0.9-2.5 %CD19+ B Cells 25.9 range 5-30 %CD3- /CD16+Cd56+ NK L2.4 range 4-29 CD3+ T Cells 2211 range 970-3600 CD3+/CD4+ Th Cells 1515 range 500-2665 CD3+/CD8+ Ts + Tc 660 range 303-2000 CD19+ B Cells 811 range 80-1100 CD3-/CD16+CD56+ NK 75 range 56-637 I don't know if this answered your question or not, but it did give the NK count.
