Guest guest
We've had discussions before regarding sending patients to collections. Some have said they never use collection agencies and just dismiss patients who are delinquent and have not responded to letters, phone calls, etc. Generally, they try not to let the AR get too high. I guess the idea is -- why would they want to keep a patient who isn't respectful enough to pay off the balance for services rendered. Others are pretty aggressive with collections. Anyway, my EMR has partnered with GreenFlagSM Profit Recovery (via Transworld Systems). Anyone using this agency? Any success? I don't have any connections to GreenFlagSM Profit Recovery (via Transworld Systems) - just curious if anyone has used w/ success or not. (TSI), the industry leader in profit recovery, and eClinicalWorks™, a leading provider of unified ambulatory clinical information systems, have entered into a partnership to offer medical providers a more efficient and streamlined collections process for slow-paying patient accounts. Under the terms of the agreement, TSI will offer its collections service, GreenFlagSM Profit Recovery, to eClinicalWorks customers at preferred pricing.“Medical practices experience the daily headaches involved in self-pay collections, but with our easy to use web-based system, we do all that work for them so they can get back to their primary responsibility – providing quality medical care,” said Ken Eissing, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing Operations, Transworld Systems Inc. “eClinicalWorks is one of the nation’s premier providers of clinical information technology services to medical groups, and by combining our respective services, we can now seamlessly transfer claims data from accounts receivable to collections, thereby offering customers an enhanced revenue cycle workflow.”Practices using eClinicalWorks’ practice management system will be able to view all of the collections activities and administer collections directly through TSI, which will speed up payments and lower internal costs – increasing practices’ cash flow. Guest guest
, If this is the same company I talked to, they have an office in Co Springs. If so, they charge a flat fee like $2500/ year and then send patients letters like a collection agency, but they actually don't do real collections. If they collect more than you paid them, you make out, if not you lose. When the woman came to talk to me, my AR was low, still is, and it looked like a looser to me. I do insist on credt cards, so can get my balnace billings usually. If not and they are active patients, I usually hold the amount and flag the record and collect when they call again for an appointment Jim ________________________________ From: on behalf of Locke's in Colorado Sent: Tue 7/22/2008 9:46 AM To: Locke's in Colorado Subject: Collection Agencies -- GreenFlagSM Profit Recovery (via Transworld Systems) We've had discussions before regarding sending patients to collections.
