Guest guest
Regression and no progress for four months would concern me. The one thing that jumped out to me was the use of Diflucan. That was the one drug on the protocol that my son couldn't tolerate at all and was the only time that my son regressed for longer than a few weeks. I recall fighting with Dr. G for six weeks to get him off it and finally making the decision to just stop it myself. The next phone consult wasn't pretty so I wouldn't recommend just stopping the drug but I'd be more adamant about trying a different antifungal if you haven't already switched. Diflucan can be very helpful for most but I do know a few other kids who couldn't tolerate it at all. Also, if you're using the regular kind with the pink dye, some kids react to the dye. Guest guest
We were using compounded Diflucan because of the lactose in the regular form. Do kids still have adverse reactions even with the compounded version? Thanks Lori B > > Regression and no progress for four months would concern me.
