Guest guest
I responded earlier to the same question. I " sandwich " it crushed between to slices of soy ice dream in on teaspoon and he takes it all at once. When we first started I tried a few other methods (including the pill cup) and nothing was very effective until I got the spoonful of ice cream. I did have to pin him down at first and wait for him to stop shaking his head and telling me no but he would eventually just give up and take it. Now I don't have to pin him down but sometimes I do have to wait a bit for him to open up. Cheryl On Feb 12, 2007, at 2:33 PM, shaelaturvin wrote: > HELLO WE HAVE JUST STARTED THE TREATMENT. Guest guest
Bribe bribe bribe. How are you trying to give it? Can he verbalize and understand it? Is he capable of swallowing pills? You do have to wash off the blue dye, so I wrapped the pills in margarine to help it not taste nasty, and my son could understand that the butter was to help it slide down easy. If it's about the taste, and he can understand, teaching him that he can take it w/out tasting would help...
