He's in Rowlett, TX near which is just northeast of Dallas. I'm in Plano and it was just over 20 minutes and that's not bad at all.

LOL, it was our first time on the turnpike though, we put money in, the light stayed red, we drove through anyway and the alarms started ringing. Quite the experience. Will I get a huge ticket? I sure hope not. We stopped in at the little building and a man there said not to worry about it. It was asking for .40 and we put in .50 so it rejected the second quarter. Does that sound right, or should you be able to overpay if you need to?

I've been looking for a San doctor for over a year. The only one who was decent gave up his practice and went in with a group that doesn't prescribe Armour. I don't think he was the best for more complicated cases anyway.

Finding someone who will look at adrenals is hard. Right, Steph? And I think that's my main issue right now.I've been going to Dr. , who's even further away. But he doesn't take my insurance.

Wow, that's a long way. Did you check the list for doctor's near San ?

It doesn't look like any of the doctors in the Dallas/Ft Worth area that treat adrenals are in my Blue Cross/Blue Shield network. My daughters still need to be treated for at least the thyroid. I'm a bit afraid to have them see a doctor that only does thyroid since I'm having adrenal issues.

She is in the Blue Cross Network. I wrote her information down. I need to get myself feeling better before I make any concrete decisions on who will see my girls. I've decided that I definitely need to see Dr . I'm just not up to navigating through doctors.

Does Dr Owen's do bioidentical hormones?

One other doc not on our list who will do adrenals is Bessie Owens in Mesquite. But for thyroid, she will not treat below a TSH of about .3. If you feel well with a TSH that high, you might want to check her out. She is on Shomon's Top Doc List.Kim Hanson wrote:

Jan, what is the optimal number for TSH? My test last year put me at a 2.3, but that was the lowest I have ever been. I started at 62 for diagnosis but until last year it was hovering between 5 and 7 (back when the lab range was higher). No wonder I don't feel good!

Thanks for everything... Judy
