Guest guest
, We are buried in our neck of the woods. To give you a visual I have a patio table and chair set with high back chairs on my deck and only the top 4 inches of the chairs are visible. I would say that we have about 4 feet in most area's. lives about 15 minutes away from me. Dear heaven I am ready for the snow to stop. Guest guest
, It is snowing again! Our landlord shovels out the parking lot at the office but we do the walk and the stairs but of course we have to get our cars out and down the road to the office in order to do the shoveling there! You have to really pity the poor person who called me because we did not pick up the phone right at 9 a.m. one morning because we were outside enjoying ourselves playing in the snow. I think I was perhaps a bit rude and asked them if they listened to the news and if they knew how to spell Blizzard! The plows have to put the snow somewhere and we have a mountain of it in out parking lot which is easily 15 feet high. HOWEVER what has happened south of us is by far much, much worse. The mountains of snow they have will probably be with them until August. It is not unusual to get alot of snow in the snow belt but the band of lake effect snow that the folks in Oswego County got lasted over ten days because Lake Ontario is so warm. In January the lake was 44 degrees so any cold air system going over the lake picked up a lot of moisture and if when the air is cold enough it comes down as snow. It has been an unusually warm winter for us. Actually a record breaker in January. Then there was the morning this week when the temperature was -35. It is now in the 30's. Golly you didn't ask for a weather report did you? We like to talk about the weather up here! I love cold weather because the mold counts go down both inside and outside!
