Guest guest
Hey Rob, have been thinking about you. Now... one thought is to think outside the square and to see if you can get the train to Ho Chi Min City and fly out from there. You might have to be a bit uncomfortable on the train overnight, but it would get you heading out rather than just hanging around waiting for the airports to reopen. It is going to be chaos for a week or so once it reopens. Look at alternate railway destinations where you might be able to fly out of. Alternatively of course is to go down to the Chayo Praya River, book into a hotel with a river view and watch the world go by whilst you sip lovely cocktails... and the sky train up to MBK for some retail therapy. Look at it as a wonderful and unusual adventure. And be thankful that you are not in Mumbai... that is just a mess! Look forward to the next update and hope to hear that you are heading home.
