Being here in NC I have been exposed to alot more

medical-based people than any place else that I have

lived. With Durham and Chapel Hill (Duke Univ)right

here & the huge medical plaza with all the big

pharmacutecal companies in our backdoor at

Raleigh-Durham--I was totally taken aback when I was

put on methadone for my backpain and nearly every

bonehead I know said " oh! the stuff that was made for

herion addicts) I politely told them all,no,nobody

would make a drug to help you get off another

drug;this one just happens to have a sideaffect-as

most medicines do--of treating herion addicts--it was

made to releive pain,

but we can thank the media for that,and the fact that

oxycotin;though touted as the BEST pain medicine yet;

has been crapped on by the media as hillbilly herion

and the good the medicine has been buried under a pile

of BS showing the harm it causes when somebody abuses

it//but abuse always causes harm.
