Possible Military Coup In Thailand

Hi Everyone

So far we are safe and well, if somewhat apprehensive on my part.....

We leave this island at 1pm for the ferry back to the mainland, then the

overnight train to Bangkok.

So far we have not had much accurate news here as what we see is

inbThai or German with the occasional bulletin in English.... we know

the airport is totally blockaded

The government are very indecisive as to the situation, some say it will

finish tomorrow, but no one is moving either way...

If the situaiton contunes we will be off load down to Pattaya, as they are

concerned for our safety if we remain in BKK, but the oproblem is also

accomdation is very scarce, so we are just not sure.....

I am keeping sms's to a minimum, to conserve the enrgy on teh phone

in case we are unable to get it recharged......

This has put a damp spot on what hs been a wopnderufl holiday, I am

trying not to worry, but between us, I am shit scared, maily what will

happen to end this siege....

I will try and log in in the next day or so, so far we are OK, my main

worry is Larry getting back to his business..... If he can get a flight out

first, I will shove him on it..
