We are on trileptal 7ml twice a day and also zonisamide. Seems to be helping our

4.5 year old with partial complex seizures due to BPP. Side effects are minimal

for her.

Good luck!

trileptal

We recently took our daughter off of Depakote for seizures due to side

effects of severe depression and irritability as well as lethargy. The

neurologist is now going to put her on Trileptal. Does anyone have

experience with Trileptal and if so, how has your child tolerated it? I

know every child's reaction will be different, but I'd love to hear your

experience anyway. I would love to avoid another reaction like we had

and would almost rather she have seizures that experience life as she

did when she was on Depakote. Also, anyone know of any non-invasive or

natural remedies for seizures?

Cristina is on trileptal twice a day.  The only side effect is drowsiness so I

give it to her at naptime and bed time.  Works great for us.
