Better to use plants that are naturally high in sulphur for internal

use. Elemental sulphur is inorganic and not usuable by the body. For

pets that may be different but I doubt it as they usually don't eat

elemental sulphur either. However, a lot of people swear by using

elemental sulphur for all kinds of things. Removing negative spirits

from the home, critters and such as well. Supposedly good for chancres

of the skin and external ulcers and such but I have no experience with

any of this. However, I would bet that MSM would be good for a lot of this.

Hi Pam,

Sulphur is insoluble in water and only slightly soluble in alcohol. What

it is soluble in you don't want to be using on your pets. Eucalyptus is

very good for fleas. Dr. Bronner's Eucalyptus soap works wonders on

them. From my past experience it seems as if it knocks them out. Then

they are easily washed off the pet. Also some string soaked in

Eucalyptus oil, pennyroyal oil, rosemary oil and probably a few others

and then dipped in beeswax and allowed to dry and then tied on the pet

makes a good flea collar.
