Guest guest
hi, I am new and I have 2 Aspergers girls. The younger one (8 yr old) also has a tbi from a prebirth injury. She was non verbal until 2 and now is Hyperlexic and has the elision skills of a freshman in high school. She has already read enstein, Caruso, and Tom Sawyer. She also has sensory integration disorder. Her immune system seems to be in hyper drive. Example she developed Whooping cough and was treated at the emergency room, she was terribly ill for one day and was fine within 2 days. no barking seal cough after the first day. My other daughter however is 15 and seems to catch everything. She currently has Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome second to a yet undetermined Immune disorder. She is allergic to most antibiotics has unusual food allergies. She is on aspirin therapy for a blood clot issue. Both of my girls have a high IQs but have difficulty in math. Have been told that older one may have CFIDS but there are no doctors in Indianapolis that treat teens. Any advice? Caroline Milligan _CaCi32@..._ (mailto:CaCi32@...) Guest guest
My Advice would be to take them to see Dr. Russel in Black River NY and have them evaluated. Dr. Russel has really made a huge difference in my daughters life. Below is a link to their website.
