Guest guest
Hi, I just received my 4 y.o. son's ruebella test results. Can anyone help me interpret this? IgG = 2.94 (range 0 = negative, > 1.09 = positive IgM = <0.80 AU (range < 1:20, > 1:1.60) Thank you, Kristy
Guest guest
Check with your doctor but assuming your son has had a rubella vaccine either individual or in an MMR..then to me this says that there is no current rubella infection (IgM less than ref range) though appears to have had some exposure (Vaccine?) and has long term reactivity which as I understand might indicate immunity....ie the vaccine worked, but if your son has never had a rubella vaccine, then he has been exposed to the disease - unless something else ie going on...talk to your Dr. --- Kristy Nardini <krnardini@...> wrote: > Hi, > > I just received my 4 y.o. son's ruebella test results.
