Guest guest
I can tell you that Nisha has alot of abnormal activity around her malformation that makes her at risk for partial and complex partial seizures. Active may mean that ESES CSWS that I never really understood. Diane RE: how to stop putting hands in mouth? Louise, First try to give her more large motor or heavy work sensory activities like rolling her uplike a hot dog in blankets, massage, pressure, weighted things blankets or pushing heavy laundry baskets, shovel or mower, wear tight underarmor shirts. If you see fingers in the mouth first try popsickle or gum or crunchy or sour. I used warhead spray no more dro
Guest guest
What I was told is it basically means electrical misfires are actively happening, which can be an indicator of seizure potential. So basicly you know what you already knew. Joshy, 9 Sent from my iPhone What does it mean when an EEG comes back as " active " ? My daughter had a 24 hour EEG last week due to increased seizures. She did not have any while hooked up but the preliminary results I was told today show her brain with active spikes. Waiting to hear from Neuro tomorrow. Thanks Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry® how to stop putting hands in mouth? Hi everyone Was wondering if any of you have any tips to stop my daughter putting her hands in her mouth. She is 3 years old and and quite severe sensory issues. But the mouthing of her hands has got more and more , pretty much non stop these days. Not sure if it is her teeth as well as the sensory pleasure she gets from it. I would have to distract her all the time or put gloves on to give her sore red hands a break. Thanks louise, mum to Scarlett
