Guest guest
Borochoff, Jerome. I guess I need to ask Jan to remove him from her file of doctors. > > > Houston resident me will be in ville on Monday > > for an 10 a.m. > > appointment with Dr. Launius. > > > > Dr. B, in Houston, is currently without an office to > > practice in (due > > to circumstances that aren't clear to me), so I need > > a new thyroid doc. > > > > Because I received no warning of Dr. B's situation, > > which occured at > > about the same time as I was asking him to renew a > > prescription and > > provide some piggie meds, I now find myself taking > > 2-year old Cytomel > > exclusively -- I can't believe I'm actually using my > > emergency stash. > > > > After many unanswered phone messages, I finally got > > an email from Dr. > > B. Guest guest
Yes, I'll do that. I've already started preparing. You know, the one-pager and making sure I have my past test results. > > > > Houston resident me will be in ville on Monday for an 10 a.m. > > appointment with Dr. Launius. > > > > Dr. B, in Houston, is currently without an office to practice in > (due > > to circumstances that aren't clear to me), so I need a new thyroid > doc. > > > > Because I received no warning of Dr. B's situation, which occured at > > about the same time as I was asking him to renew a prescription and > > provide some piggie meds, I now find myself taking 2-year old > Cytomel > > exclusively -- I can't believe I'm actually using my emergency > stash. > > > > After many unanswered phone messages, I finally got an email from > Dr. > > B. Guest guest
I've been going to Dr L for almost a year...he is a great, caring doctor! His wife is his nurse and she is warm and caring! ANd she is on this group too! Her name is - a sweetheart! If it wasn't a 4 hour drive for me, and a missed day of work, I'd still go to him. But I really need to find someone local as I can't keep missing work and now I'm starting school on the side - not enough hours in the day or week. You will love him - he will take as long as necessary to teach you as he goes along...wonderful doc! You will be in good hands...my only criticism is that he does not address the adrenal issues...not sure why but he won't go there...other than that he is fantastic as far as I'm concerned. Cheers, Tee > > > > Houston resident me will be in ville on Monday for an 10 a.m. > > appointment with Dr. Launius. > > B. Guest guest
Thanks for the endorsement. I looked forward to meeting both the doctor and . I know what you mean about the cost in time. I earn leave time by the hour per week. It's a silly system, equaled only by our health care system. I hope you find a good doc. If you're going to school, too, you may really need some adrenal work! Good health to you. > > > > > > Houston resident me will be in ville on Monday for an 10 a.m. > > > appointment with Dr. Launius. > > > > > > Dr. B, in Houston, is currently without an office to practice in > > (due > > > to circumstances that aren't clear to me), so I need a new thyroid > > doc. > > > > > > Because I received no warning of Dr. B's situation, which occured at > > > about the same time as I was asking him to renew a prescription and > > > provide some piggie meds, I now find myself taking 2-year old > > Cytomel > > > exclusively -- I can't believe I'm actually using my emergency > > stash. > > > > > > After many unanswered phone messages, I finally got an email from > > Dr. > > > B. Guest guest
I was thinking I would drive somewhere north to meet you. I'd still be happy to do that, if your schedule permits. > > Houston resident me will be in ville on Monday for an 10 a.m. > > appointment with Dr. Launius. > > > > Dr. B, in Houston, is currently without an office to practice in (due > > to circumstances that aren't clear to me), so I need a new thyroid doc. > > > > Because I received no warning of Dr. B's situation, which occured at > > about the same time as I was asking him to renew a prescription and > > provide some piggie meds, I now find myself taking 2-year old Cytomel > > exclusively -- I can't believe I'm actually using my emergency stash. > > > > After many unanswered phone messages, I finally got an email from Dr. > > B. Guest guest
I'm taking 200 mcg unithroid and 5 grs Armour. Normally. Except now, when I'm using up my emergency stash of Cytomel from 2 years ago. > > B. Guest guest
How far north are you willing to go? There is an IHOP on Central Expressway just south of Spring Valley and north of LBJ 635. Would that work for you? I will send you my phone numbers by private email, so you can call me when you get into town. Bobo Amerigo wrote: I was thinking I would drive somewhere north to meet you. Guest guest
That would work. And I may get there earlier. I have your phone numbers and I'll call before 7, for sure. > > > Houston resident me will be in ville on Monday for an 10 a.m. > > > appointment with Dr. Launius. > > > > > > Dr. B, in Houston, is currently without an office to practice in (due > > > to circumstances that aren't clear to me), so I need a new thyroid > doc. > > > > > > Because I received no warning of Dr. B's situation, which occured at > > > about the same time as I was asking him to renew a prescription and > > > provide some piggie meds, I now find myself taking 2-year old Cytomel > > > exclusively -- I can't believe I'm actually using my emergency stash. > > > > > > After many unanswered phone messages, I finally got an email from Dr. > > > B.
