Guest guest
A good solution for clean teeth, which I have used for 5 years, is bar soap. I always brush my teeth with soap. I use either an all natural bar soap or Dr. Bronner's liquid peppermint soap. The key is to never use anything (soap or toothpaste) that has glycerin in it. Glycerin adheres to the teeth and prevents re-enamalization. Plaque also sticks to glycerin. It takes 22 rinses to get glycerin based toothpaste off your teeth and only 2 rinses to get non-glycerin soap off. Soap also keeps plaque soft so that it comes off easily. Can't remember the last time I used any kind of toothpaste (natural or other) for brushing. Check the labels...I know someone who pays $20 for a tube of all natural organic toothpaste and it still has glycerin in it. I keep away from that stuff!!! Half water and half vinegar is good for dissolving plaque and candida in your mouth. Soap sounds like a good idea too, but I can't get past imagining the taste! Guest guest
Flouride causes tooth decay, I have never read that flouride causes tooth decay. It is just a poisonous substance that should never be ingested. Now my dentist said that brushing with flouride is fine because it is only absorbed by the teeth and if you rinse well you won't take any of it internally. I still don't use it at all, not matter what he says. Gloria

I use about a 50/50 mix of salt and baking soda. The Hydrogen peroxide I use is 30% h2o2 which I dilute to 3% and then I dilute it again by approximately 50% for oral purposes. Does quite nicely especially using it to brush the tongue with. DO NOT USE STORE BOUGHT 3% HYDROGEN PEROXIDE FOR ANYTHING INTERNAL. USE ONLY 30 - 35% OR HIGHER CONCENTRATIONS AND DILUTE TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED PERCENTAGE AND USE ONLY FOOD GRADE OR USP THAT DOES NOT HAVE STABILIZERS AND OTHER CHEMICALS AND METALS ADDED INTO IT. Also using a ultra soft bristle brush will not damage the enamel on your teeth where the harder bristle brushes will. Now this applies to synthetic bristles and not natural. If you can find a natural bristle toothbrush that would be most excellent for you teeth. If you do find one find three and send me two. Guest guest
I'm possibly looking at another root canal according to the specialist... so I decided last year no way... so far I seem to be winning... I think I'm borderline on another root canal too and I am working hard at reversing it. No pain, so that's a good sign. (I usually wait until it's too late!). I brush with Dr. Bronner's, use salt in my water pik, smear echinacea and/or tea tree oil on my gums and also take echinacea internally, take loads of Vit. C powder (with bioflavs) and try to keep my mouth as free of acids and bacteria as I can. It's a full time job! LOL! Another thing that really helps is breaking open a cap of liquid CoQ10 and putting it all over my gums before bed. I've noticed an improvement when I do that. Guest guest
Hey Don: Thanks for all your help with this! I know phenol-alcohol isn't too hot on the liver, but mine is in good shape, and since I don't plan on drinking the mouthwash (ick!) I'll worry about it when the bottle is done -- Just bought it & I don't wanna throw it out! Again, I appreciate it, and thanks too to whoever posted the link to the original article--that was very helpful. -ST Don Quai wrote: > Hi Sara, > > You don't have to use Peroxide.
