Hi Everyone!

I have been feeling inspired to start a blog about my daughter Callie and was

wondering if anyone else is blogging about their child with PMG. If so, please

let me know if you feel like sharing your blog. I would love to read about

others and will be happy to share mine as soon as I can get it up and running.

Thanks!

Mommy to Callie (14 months old, Bilateral Perisylvian PMG + Infantile Spasms)

Hi !  has an Apple IPad.  It has 14 gigabytes.  We also paid to

have a plastic cover attached to the screen to protect it.  It cost about $600

total but has been so great for .  There are lots of computer programs

called " Apps " that you can download.  You buy them from the Apple App Store.

Many are free, some you have to pay for.  The great thing is there are some apps

that are for non-communicative kids.  They are expensive (like $200 +) but a lot

cheaper than buying a communicative computer.  Most of the games I've gotten for

have been free but the most expensive one was $2.99.  Hope this helps.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you to everyone who shared their blogs last month. I finally have mine up

and running! I am not a very eloquent writer, but I have already found it to be

a great outlet. I hope someone else might find it helpful to hear about

Callie's experience. Here is the link in case you would like to follow it:

Stacey, I have enjoyed reading about and I think we went to see Dr.

Dobyns on the same day last October! We probably passed each other in the

waiting room.

Thanks again everyone.
