Just out of 5 day in hospital; Appendix Burst: Now question on Anti-Biotics!!???

It's . I'm trying to write this as clear headed as possible, so

I'm sorry if there are some miss spellings or mistakes, I'm dizzy from

all the meds they have me on.

I got real sick, stomach hurting me a ton, went to the ER, had them

check it all out... was there for several hours, they thought it was

just bad constipation and gas after x-ray. Sent me home, laxatives,

and some things for gas, and stool softener.

Got home, 2 enamas (sp?), 4 coelace stool softners, 2 anal laxatives,

soft food, many tries, then a magnesium citriate (sp?) drink/...

didn't help.

Went back to ER more pain, very very bad paion, in tears crying.

Did cat scan, my appendix had ruptured a while ago they said. Bad

infection so bad it was infected to the point of blocking off my

intestine tract from swelling.

Had to wait 12 hrs for surgery! No food nothing to drink for what

totaled 4 days (at that point since I could eat the days prior

either-and had been throwing up), didn't take psych meds for 3 1/2

days, having withdrawl; they had me on morphine; I began to have (D)

in my own bed <that was miserable>.

I began to have the worst pains of my life, they had to take me to

sugery; suddenly may pain jumped to a level haven't felt before in my

life. Definitely a 10 on 1-10 scale, no doubt or question. I passed

out in the chair from the pain threshold. I was screaming; I was on

morphine during all of this; like someone with red hot firplace poker,

shoving it in my side and underneth. Worst pain ever-

On massive anti biotics for about 5 + days. Still unable to really go

have a BM (now as I type). But still have a week's worth of

antibiotics I have to take.

The infection has been bad, and my whole stomach has been inflamed and

swollen. They had to start me on antibiotics before the surgery to

try to get a foot hold. I had about, idk, 10 maybe 12 bags of

antibiotics, plus the pills I'm beginning to take now.

I want to know how this works into my work? I'm on massive

amounts of antibiotics, and I probably would have needed some anyway

for bacterial infections; i.e.; Strep titre 413 while treating aspects

of . (That was my blood test amount/no. for strep, 413.

In a very indirect and unplanned way might this some how qualify this

as the 'anti-biotic' spectrum of treatment when this is done? Kinda

of 'anti-biotics, virals, anti-fungus, change in diet-planning diet

protocol, probiotics (possibly), and maybe a antidepressant;

protocol-- along some small tweaks here and there based upon blood

numbers there on out?

That's what I'm curious about. They have me taking- Amox/K Clav

875MG TAB, Filled by : BRG (GENERIC FOR: AUGMENTIN 875MG TAB)

Might you be able to shed some light on that... I guess right now that

is the forefront of things concerning me right now.

side that still hurt with the swelling I'm sure you know.

I need to reply to many people to let them know why they haven't heard

from me; so I'll be doing that...
