Guest guest
Geri, Repeating myself is something I do regularly. No problem. I see a GI doc is all and primary. I had biopsy in June that showed extensive fibrosis, necrosis and stage 1 cirrhosis. I am on pred, but not imuran. My GI wants to wait another month on the lower dose of pred, now at 10mg. They may do another biopsy in January. I asked about budisone, and they had never heard of it. I go to the clinic at university hospital here in ville. I am going to apply for Medicaid this week so I can get another doc soon. The itching just started the past few weeks. I will tell doc on Thursday. I am supposed to see a rhumatolegist soon. I may have lupus also. Ginger
Guest guest
Ginger, Sounds like you have a wonderful sister. I credit my sister for my being alive. It was her whom pushed the local doc to send me to a hospital that did transplants. It was a Sunday and all three hospitals inBoston that did liver transplants wanted to wait until Monday. My sister was relentless and got the pager number of one of the transplant surgeons from the deaconess. He was at his son's hockey game, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. He ended up giving the go ahead for me to be sent to the Deaconess where they saved my life. She still takes me to the hospital when I become ill. She knows my medical history almost as well as me. Sisters can truly be our very best freinds. Charlene (post-transplant and AIH)
Guest guest
Re noisy parts, sun and seizing up. What a great bunch you all are. In the past 24 hours, I have thought about 3 of the topics in the last couple posts!!! While at work this morning, I stood up from my desk adn started to walk and in space of covering about 25 feet, 2 people asked me what was making the cracking noise----- it was my ankle........ sometimes it;s my knee, but that is more of a creaking, actually. If I could get them both going at the same time, maybe I could harmonize.---Yes Gillian - could we all form the PA orchestra made up of one man bands!! I was thinking about the sun and counting the days till summer--- it is incredible how dramatically the P improves-- the PA as well. My derm says the benefits outweigh the risks for me---- especially since I see her at least every 4-6 months if any suspicious sun related spots should show up. The derm I went to in Pa had me get a UVB light, but it does not do the same thing as the real mcoy. My hubby asked me how I felt this morning and I could not think of a way to describe it--- You nailed it Janet--- seized up sums it up!!!!! in Wisconsin

Guest guest
Hormone In Range Out of Range Units Range Estradiol 11.7 pg/ml 0.5 - 1.5 Testosterone 264 pg/ml 50-200 They are certainly not low that I am sure of. Steph Date: Tue, 24 Jun 2003 21:54:22 -0000 From: scotty082865 Subject: Re: My Saliva Test results Steph, What are the tests using for units? pg/ml for E2 and ng/dl for T?? If so, I have never seen either of those to be considered too high. If your E2 is 11.7 pg/ml then from everything I have ever seen you are fine. If your T is 264 ng/dl then that is low. Way low. What are the reference ranges they sent along with the results? y.
Guest guest
Wow. That's interesting. I guess the saliva tests have much different reference ranges then do the normal blood tests. Do these agree with your previous testing? There are conversions to nmol units available on the web here. > Hormone In Range Out of Range Units > Range > Estradiol 11.7 > pg/ml 0.5 - 1.5 > Testosterone 264 pg/ml > 50-200 > > They are certainly not low that I am sure of. > > Steph > > Date: Tue, 24 Jun 2003 21:54:22 -0000 > From: scotty082865 > Subject: Re: My Saliva Test results > > Steph, > > What are the tests using for units? pg/ml for E2 and ng/dl for T?? > If so, I have never seen either of those to be considered too high. > If your E2 is 11.7 pg/ml then from everything I have ever seen you > are fine. Guest guest
I do not know if I'm doing this correctly, so please let me know if I'm not. I want to respond to Yash's message about Dr. Bihari, so I hit " reply. " I don't see any old e-mails attached, so I'm not sure if they're appearing or not. Yash, when Dr. Bihari was diagnosed, MRI's had not been invented. I believe he told me that his diagnosis was based on the symptoms he was exhibiting. He as not exhibited MS symptoms in many years. As has been stated here before, he takes LDN as a cancer preventative. ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Guest guest
, I used the olive oil infusion with rosemary to kill the young mites. It worked. You just have to keep cleaning out the old wax afterward until the ears are clean. It may take a couple of weeks. sarahlovell@... wrote: Question about pets. I've seen a bit about dogs...but this is for my kitty. My male cat has ear mites that we just noticed. The poor guy is scratching his ears and shaking his head like mad. I've read things online about smothering the mites with drops of oil etc. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience (or thoughts) about using a diluted tea tree oil or such, to rid him of the mites.
