Guest guest
Jade I have been banded for nearly 7 years and I have had no trouble with my teeth. I really do not think that the hole in your tooth and pbing would be the cause. I have done my fair share of pbing over these past 7 years from one cause or another and as I say my teeth are fine. Guest guest
My 14 month old son has bilateral diffuse pmg. He has cut 2 lower teeth 2 months ago which came in slightly crooked. When we look at his upper gums you can see 2 large bumps which appear to be teeth but they are huge and look more like molars. This is looking at the outside of the gums rather thn the underneath. Has anyone had problems with late arrival of teeth (probably from not eating solids) and/or mis-shaped teeth? I should also note that he has a high arched palate so his upper gum isn't normal either. Guest guest
Good question-I have concerns about my sons teeth ( 6) too. His teeth are perfectly straight but have yet to start falling out-his sister starting losing teeth at about 5. Its very hard to find a dentist because he does not keep his mouth open. Hopefully you find some anwers here-I just rambled on..... ________________________________ To: polymicrogyria Sent: Tue, January 25, 2011 4:02:22 PM Subject: Teeth My 14 month old son has bilateral diffuse pmg. Guest guest
Very much like my daughter, 9 1/2 years, has 8 adult teeth and only just has signs of the next 2 wobbly teeth. As well as the list below, she has now been diagnosed with pediatric osteoporosis and has 3 monthly pamidronate infusions to attempt to strengthen her bones. These are for 4 hours per day for 3 days every 3 months. Dom, father to Chloe, aged 9, diffuse bilateral pmg, G tube, rotational osteotomy ops on each hip, epilepsy, cannot sit, walk, talk etc, precocious puberty, however a happy smiley (most of the time) little girl Teeth My 14 month old son has bilateral diffuse pmg. Guest guest
Hi everyone, My granddaugther, 5,5 yrs, right slight PMG, didn't lost any teeth, as yet, Her teeth are perfectly straight. but she goes usually to dentist, she allows it and keeps mouyh open. I'll question him about the problems you're stating. Just to tell you young teeth do have stem cells, and you can keep them in specialized labs, in order to use in future. Afterall, medicine is improving everyday and I believe stem cells are the answer for our kids. We have already contacted the Institute Butanta, here in Brazil, the one which keeps the teethin lab..
