Guest guest
my son battled insomnia since onset of autism. in the last year it was even worse, for 9mo severe insomnia effected every aspect of his life. he was sleeping on average 3 or 4 hrs a day, most of the time not falling asleep until 3am or later. a big sign i did not understand was that he was undergoing severe vitamin b deficiency. he constantly had cracked lips....not understanding what i was looking at we switched around ssri's to find one that would regulate his sleep patterns. the ssri's probably were part of the problem with depletion of vitamins, finally big the brake came when I stumbled across info stating insomnia is a product of vitamin b deficiency, the cracked lips were one of the outward signs listed. i added in vitamin b complex 150mg plus reg adult multi vitamin and within 3wks of this he started to sleep normally, and has been ever since. i am a big time believer forever more in the power of vitamin b..... cat beauticbiz <beauticbiz@...> wrote: Hi all! I'm new here and was wondering if someone could give me some suggestions on how to get my son to bed at a descent hour. My 5 year old son has autism and it seems no matter how tired he is he wont go to bed untill he's ready, we have a routine every night he watches a movie or I read books to him then it's bed time, but I cant seem to get him to sleep before 10pm , he is in school now and he fights me everyday getting up to go to school, I think he would be better if he got more sleep, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Debbie __________________________________________________
