Guest guest
Hello, In short ABA and ABM or not the same thing. They both treat different things. ABA is used to change and teach different behaviors amongst other things and ABM i believe is actually based off of feldenkrais so it is very similar to that type of therapy. It has to do with teaching the body to move. If you google each therapy you will get a much better description than I am giving;) I am going to start ABA with my daughter next month in hopes of changing some behaviors and learning new ones that will help her become more independent. As well as increase her communication skills as she is nonverbal but learning to use her ipad. We will be having a therapist come to our house 3 times a week for 2.5 to 3 hours each day. And they will train me to do the program on the other days.
