As mentioned -- VOIP phone #'s are a huge issue in regards to getting listed in the phone book.

My Qwest #'s automatically getting a listing in the white and yellow pages.

Qwest forwards the #'s to the various phone books.

But the VOIP #'s (ie Vonage), don't do that -- so you have to make extra effort to get listed.

If you buy extra features in the yellow pages anyway, it probably doesn't matter -- ie bolding, boxed entry, ad, etc.

But if you are trying to do the low overhead thing and just have the free listing, you may actually get left out of the phone book!

Keep that in mind.
