Guest guest
Thanks. I will call Gonino, he is in-network with me, two hour drive. Noticed that he is also not Endo. Was that Eldon Steve or in Lubbock? Those are both in-network. They are almost a four hour drive!!! I also have found Atluri, Rajesh in my town, Wichita Falls, an Endo. Have you or anyone heard of this one? Amarillo is four hours away, although Brantley is also in network. Thanks again!!! > Hello everyone, > I was referred to post on this site looking for a good Endo (who takes in$urance). I live in Wichita Falls, TX.... so Dallas is probably the closest to me in the state. Two years after diagnosis, I am still trying to optimize medication and I have moved around the country and have seen 7 Endos, 3 Dermatologists, and 2 GPs regarding thyroid disorders. I am hypo with hashis and have lost more than 1/2 of my hair and battle severe fatigue in A.M. until afternoon usually. I am currently on 200 mcg Synthroid + 5mcg Cytomel. > > Last labs: > TSH 0.02 (0.3-3.0) > FT4 1.8 (0.8-1.8) > FT3 390 (230-420) > > Current Endo in Chicago (where I work) decreased me to 175 Synthroid and then to 150 & 175 alternating over three weeks ago. After SEVERE hair shedding (>250 hairs/day) and even worse fatigue, I've returned to the 200 + 5 again with her agreement. I couldn't take anymore, I get married this month and have enough on my plate to have a downspiral. I don't know what to do anymore.... I am forgetting something? I take iron, EPO, and mult-vitamin, exercise, and eat healthy. I have had adrenals tested, etc. I have been taking BC pills for years, should I discontinue to regain my hormone levels and test those? I am at my wit's end. Please help me. Thanks in advance. > > > --------------------------------- > Check out the all-new Yahoo!
